A floor bound sculptural body which references the lineage of ideas from a time no longer accessible. Recycled clay is dynamically heaved onto a collapsible mold. Using the shape, mass, strength, and muscle memory of our specific bodies to embrace the causality of gesture in the round. Shapes determined by the ancestry and heritage of Caterina Moretti and Jeff Martin. An unearthing of heritage and of the past, imbued with a stillness and energy all at once. And direct cast in silicon bronze.
